Prison Of Pain
I wake up to find myself wearing a ball and a chain
Surrounded in darkness and pain, my only home
There is no life or love here, only freezing walls
I'm screaming but I'm never heard, I cry out in vain
There is no outside world, nothing beyond this hell
There's only the black empty room in which I dwell
The room inside my heart, the one that no one sees
I keep it locked inside myself, I hold the only key
So take risk and step inside the prison with me

You written is great.... You describe pain almost as your the only one that fealt so
Thanks! I honestly don't think I did that great of a job, but maybe I'm just way too hard on myself. I tend to be that way sometimes! I'm trying to think better about what I do.
