Castle-less King
A king without his castle never stands
And to the ground he lies
Just like I will without you
No home to run to
For your arms are closed
Six feet under
Is a bed that is new to this existence
A world never seen is now approaching
Near and far I see your eyes
For the love they used to hold
Gone by so fast
And taken advantage of
What I had done to get you
Is now a hole buried into nothing
You turn and walk
As if I was never here
Put together we were two
But thrown away I was one
Glass broken in a mound
Is like my heart on the ground
You were my everything
And now I am your nothing
All together our castle was torn down
From the bricks of hate
To the glue of love
You were my castle
As I the king
And as you know
What happens to a king without his castle?
And to the ground he lies
Just like I will without you
No home to run to
For your arms are closed
Six feet under
Is a bed that is new to this existence
A world never seen is now approaching
Near and far I see your eyes
For the love they used to hold
Gone by so fast
And taken advantage of
What I had done to get you
Is now a hole buried into nothing
You turn and walk
As if I was never here
Put together we were two
But thrown away I was one
Glass broken in a mound
Is like my heart on the ground
You were my everything
And now I am your nothing
All together our castle was torn down
From the bricks of hate
To the glue of love
You were my castle
As I the king
And as you know
What happens to a king without his castle?
