Colors of the Rainbow...
Someone asked me what love was,
and I said I couldn't say.
Someone asked me what hate was,
and I said it was a rainbow.
That someone asked me what I meant,
and I said to this person:
rage is the deadly red;
horrible sense, the acidic orange;
pride, the bright yellow;
envy, the sickly green;
cold fury, the icy blue;
and violent urges, the bruising purple.
This person asked me how I knew this,
And I just smiled and said,
"'Cause there's a rainbow after every rain-shower,
And I've seen a lot of them..."
and I said I couldn't say.
