Wandering for Wonders
The mind wanders
freely,
alone,
on uncharted territories
and finds that of unknown wonders.
It often comes back wounded,
carrying it’s burdens on it’s broken back
only to obtain the wisdom it deserves.
Within time,
it wanders off in the different direction,
healed, or not healed,
to finds more wonders.

This poem is very simple, and direct...that is why I like it. It suggests infinite possibilities for our wandering minds, and touches upon the resilience and toughness that lies within ourselves...the ability to keep wandering in the face of pain. I love that it made my mind wander so much, with so few words....well done.
