ghost girl

I was drawn to this by the title but for me it isn’t working and I feel you need to break this up a bit to give the ‘echo’ a chance to breathe.  I hope you won’t be offended but I would like to demonstrate what I mean:

she watches you
over and over
see's all you have done
and will do

you carress your skin with your blade  
she watches you
but does nothing

wherever you go she will be there  

blood drips over your arms
she watches

this time its different
you see her arms bleed
and you wonder
what’s happening

you place another cut
she bleeds and not you


(a tear creeps out of her eye
you realise that this girl is you
and you are hurting
but this girl is your pain
ever scar is on her
every tear is hers
all your life is in fact hers)

all that I’ve placed in brackets I would delete as it’s too telling

actually half way through this poem i didnt know what to write i guess it should of stayed that way

i guess your scars and pain is a different part of you, like a shadow always creeping around.  interesting take on the subject
