Quiet Anger (cont...)
As I close my eyes blinded by anger
Its rage wildly swelling within me like
fire in a burning inferno,
I can't help but smile inwardly-
more like a grimace-
as I remember the bright ray of hope left,
extinguishing the raging fire burning all
through my soul
my saving grace;
my undying devotion towards a
Merciful Lord
my faith in Him silences my quiet anger
It is He who pours down comfort like
rain from the sky
Its rage wildly swelling within me like
fire in a burning inferno,
I can't help but smile inwardly-
more like a grimace-
as I remember the bright ray of hope left,
extinguishing the raging fire burning all
through my soul
my saving grace;
my undying devotion towards a
Merciful Lord
my faith in Him silences my quiet anger
It is He who pours down comfort like
rain from the sky
