I Miss

I miss it being kissed and touched it's true
but it's actions like that that was the cause of me being blue

I might be lonely but I'm not coming back to you
because our story is done, over and through

I've been hurt by a lot of guys
I've lost count of all the tears I've cried

I can live without human touch
but I won't say I don't miss it much

I miss being wrapped in someone's arms and laying my head on their chest
but I know running from that stuff is what's best

I'm waiting for the guy that will make me want to stay
one who would chose to not walk away

so yes I do miss being touched and I hate feeling so alone
but I'd rather be on my own then be owned

no I don't want another guy
one who will simply make me cry

no I'm not going to rush things like I did before
