The House Of Broken Toys

sometimes I buy broken toys
from little girls and boys
with broken legs or arms
I buy them from those kids so those toys don't experience anymore such harms
little barbie dolls with cut off feet
with their hair burned from a stolen lighters heat
teddy bears with rips and tares
little trolls with melted hair
I buy toys from troubled kids
broken toys from their parents they've hid
I clean them up and patch their cuts
no I don't hate the kids who've roughed them all up
I love them all like the toys I buy from them
it's not their fault that they burn Barbies Ken
I clean them up but my rooms looks like something straight out of a horror movie scenes
broken puppets hang from the house's beams
people look at me weird when they see my collection
but my toys don't belong in some landfill they belong in my loving arms
safe from any other harms
I fix broken toys
and when their whole I give them to new girls and boys
who's parents can't afford to buy them toys
so my house might look like something you've never quite seen
in fact it might look like something from a horror scene
I buy broken toys
from broken girls and boys
with some tender loving care and some superglue
those broken toys once in my hands become better then when they were new
I love those toys
the broken ones I buy from broken girls and boys
I fix, sow, and patch, clean and repair
for broken toys I'll always be there
I have a heart for broken toys
and for broken girls and boys
