The Climb
How does one live every with themselves everyday? Everyone does the wrong thing somehow in this fast paced society. Where do we start the debates that what we do is “right” and better for the whole of society. From fashion to passion, work and money, to peace and war. It seems as the the battle at the start of the day is what path to take, and at the end what path we should have taken.
It seems because of this that we have become our own wall. Our fears and our lies surround us. The height of our wall seems to be the peak of our stress. It is as thick as pessimism we as organic, carbon-based beings seem to can't get around. Is it because we do not have the harness to protect us if we fall? Is it that we have no one to tell us how to get over ourselves so we may get to the next big adventure up. Or are we destined to fall back on the ground, and remain on square one forever?
What of those already born on the top? Are their adventures off to deep space, or are they comfortable at their own walls with no one to climb over them? Is this why we build our infrastructure; Our automobiles, trains, and airplanes? And where will everyone go once they climbed their walls. We seem stuck in this place that is the habitable sphere in deep space.
So why do not we start doing things one at a time? Use our arms and legs the way they were meant to be. The more we try and grab everything at once the less grip we seem to have on our climb up with ourselves. There are only so many tools to even make the venture up before we collapse to the weight of our own. Only then will we know what is on the other side, and maybe-just maybe the green grass then our own pothole of pitful mud that most of us seem to see before us. .
