communication itself
information
has historically
been lynchpin
of everything from
financial success
to the laying waste
of nations

In the past
Correspondance
was intimate
Letters Sacred
weeks
months
could pass
between communiques

participants would linger
over every word
lived in largely
distractionless realities
enabling them to
thoughtfully Compose
retorts
in pin-point language
being merely
"Articulate"
was the default requirement
to share
in such personal
contemporary exchange

all this
got me thinking
bout
cas-ual-ity
of contact
amongst
unknown
identities
beyond the type
on our backlit screens---

Its not even In me
to be cautious
cause each and every
one of us
can easily be imposters
we can choose infinite
personalities

each presented
semi differently
to each Iconed entity
this is overload for me
I`d rather channel
raw gullibility

so---

most dangerous
for me perhaps
prob out of touch
out of whack
with more
relevant hacks
who inhabit
these vast
cyber-tracts

safety
remains
in anonymity
but isnt that
a cynical stance
in the great oppurtunity
the great stage
of acquainting
capably destroying
ignorant
out-dated
pre-conceptions?

behind each
screen-name
engaged
an individual
beyond comprehension

what use
externalized
flailing?
moping
in-the-dark groping
latchin` on
to vaguely
possible action

why such hype?
we all just
organizin` type
I guess its good
for some
to finally
post-pone
the pipe

sorry bout
the blather
all the
screen names
that
tolerate me
are absent
so, deprived
of distraction
I continue
excrutiatingly
