Pain
7-8-12
It is when you feel nothing but emptiness inside
And it is hard to breathe.
When red hot tears fall
From a swollen face
And you are unable to even close your eyes.
When the memories of you
Come over and over in your dreams.
When you awaken yourself screaming til you are hoarse.
First you blame God
Then you
Then at last I blame myself.
You wanted to know
Know what pain is
It is surviving
When you really don’t want to.

actually in my thoughts God would be the first you blame simply because you feel that God betrayed you by taking from you someone you care for. Just my opinion. Glad you liked the write. I thought it was very good myself but I am prejuidiced.
