Trust Is A Very Fragile Thing
Time and time again [/font] I have come to realize [/font] That it’s becoming harder and harder [/font] To trust people nowadays [/font] I mean you decide to open yourself up [/font] To people and trust them [/font] With everything you have [/font] And all they do is end up [/font] Stabbing you in the back [/font] It all becomes redundant after a while [/font] Turning the process [/font] Into a neverending cycle [/font] I would know [/font] Because it has happened to me countless times [/font] And I’m just not gonna put up with it anymore [/font] Because every time that [/font] I open myself up to someone [/font] They always betray me [/font] Forcing me never to trust them ever again [/font] I don’t want to [/font] But I know that it’s the right thing to do [/font] Because I don’t want to remain friends [/font] With someone who is gonna treat me that way [/font] You know it sucks to be [/font] On the receiving end of a burning stick [/font] Taking all of the heat for no reason at all [/font] It sucks ass but you know what [/font] I consider it a lesson learned because [/font] After all they say that you live [/font] And you learn [/font] Well now I can say that I believe in it [/font] Because I am a victim[/font]
