A million faces turn
A million different ways.
I am trapped inside the swarm
Just to be whirled away.
A million faces watch
With two million judging eyes;
A billion mental knots
Tied by billions of haunting lies.
A billion dollars spent
On an trivial campaign;
A trillion flyers went
And melted in the rain.
A trillion stars speck the sky
No more unique than you and I
Not even a googol of stars defy
That one day everything will die.
