Beautifully sad and I totally agree.

Great Collabation to give a voice to a very real problem within this nation of plenty and too much apathy, ( as long as it's not my child) Thinking others will heal the hand, build the wells and feed a nation when its asked of us all to help our fellow man.

Great?? Nah, but I'd like to think the stinging truth in it makes it important to think about for more than a milli-second.  Our problems continue to be on many levels. I’m not gonna try and speak for Raquel; but I know she’d say thanks for the supportive responses in terms of this drop.
Please let her know how y’all feel about it as well. I have to give her alotta credit. The topic, her re-introducing the need to get it out was on point. Occasionally the mundane & comfortable lulls us to not see what we need or should see from time to time. I appreciate Raquel as a writer who helped me focus, albeit for a short moment on an issue of real & true importance.

Thank y'all again for reading & sharing and helping to address our collective ills in the ways in which you can.
