Buying things you can't afford.
Consumers are consumed.
Hemorrhaging for your green lord,
until every cent is used.

I am not confused,
though the picture is askew.
The path man took to grow this way,
I will tell to you . . . . .

It's green!
And it's the only thing they know.
It's greed!
Colder than the driven snow.
It's green.
'Cuz your morals have been scathed.
I see all your motives.
They're all out on display.
They're green.

They don't want your kindness.
They want monetary love.
The system's captious in design,
and I have had enough.

All I am is a bank account.
All you want are sales.
You're worthless, if down on your luck!
All they want is your holy buck!

Some say that a person's soul is seen within their eyes.
But lately, when I look in yours,
all I see are dollar signs.

It's green!
And it's the big star of the show.
It's greed!
And its the ruler of the world.
It's green.
It's the only thing they'll save.
It holds the world in shackles.
It's the master of the slaves.
It's green.
