It's Spring, that means wearing lighter colors, that scares me

The honest truth is I love wearing black
All black, a splash of color here and there
Nothing crazy though, that's for others to pull off
It scares me a little, light colors, optimism  
I have to work in to it
I'll get there, give me a little time
Light blue really scares the shit out of me
It took me years to wear boat shoes
They are quite comfortable
Even got compliments on the colors
There's no black boat shoes though
