What really happened on Easter
Happy Easter everyone! A poem by Mike Patota
The hare was faster than the tortoise! He was smarter than the tortoise! The rabbit didn't win the race because he did this on purpose. He wasn't just wise. He wasn't just smart. He made it to the finish line to work on his art. He took all of his eggs out of his basket. Painted them accordingly with patience and skillfully from practice. He always knew the turtle would win. As a matter of fact they would talk before the race would begin. They didn't wager or make a bet. They didn't argue or even fret. They both knew what had to be done. Making sure the turtle had won. Fighting and starting war isn't the way. I am sure that is what the rabbit and turtle would say. Don't let someone else choose your own battle. Never let people make you stumble or waddle. The final message is for you and it is true. I learned patience is a greater virtue.
