Dreams
"Follow your dreams"
That's what you've been taught since preschool or day care.
Well what if you can't follow your dreams,
epecially if you did dream about it and wish for it to come true and to see if you can make it possible.
But you know deep down it will never happen. It's not possible.
Your dreams could be about careers, or relationships,
or healthy lifestyles, or conditions,
or safety for your family.
When you know whatever steps you take to achieve that goal,
You'll still be millions of miles away from actually completing it.
People tend to overstate that "Follow your Dreams",
we get so worked up and determined and hopeful, when we just spiral down into failure again.
Some people actually do follow into their dreams, but most of us.....
Well we don't end up the way we wanted to.
Pointing out the people you know will succeed in life
and will achieve what they've always dreamed of and compare
yourself to them.
What did you do wrong?
You can't follow your dreams,
it will lead you into a trap,
a deep gaping hole in which you can't escape.
Dreams aren't always ment to be followed,
their ment to be wisps of imagination,
that's why they are called dreams right?

Interesting---I am only stating the obvious, but few people I know took all the steps to achieve their dreams largely because once they started down that road, the dreams changed!

Yes that's true, but some dreams never change, and it's not just careers and lifestyles. There are some things people want forever and ever. Like health and getting rid of plagues,making sure your family has enough food everyday to survive.
you can have little dreams that you still try to accomplish, but it doesn't work. I understand some dreams do change, yes.
