Water

Oh water, lovely water
I often consume you
Without giving a thought
To how wonderful it is
To get you

How grateful I should be
To have you in unrestricted quantities
The cheapest of all goods I have access to
Is at the same time the most precious

For after a day without you
I would be truly miserable
All that I do
Is based upoon having enough of you

I want to sit in my armchair more often
And consciously hold a cup of water in my hands
Consciously enjoy every drop
And be thankful
