Hope-Less

A cool wind
 Came whistling through
  The deep dark woods
    Where-in resided
      Hope
But hope was trapped
 With no escape
   In that moment of despair
     It felt worthless
      An imposter
And no longer
 Believed in itself
  Yet hadn't realised
    How many people
      Needed her
So, in a moment of sadness
 Gave up on herself
   And the world
    Was left forever lost
      Without her!
