anywhere
play me softly on a lazy afternoon
you smell of warm bluejeans and masculinity
and I was aroused by the far away look in your eyes
I said something and I saw a flicker of amusement
out in a nowhere place with nothing but time on our hands
nothing but quiet desperation in the 114 degree heat
sweltering bodies glisten
and my thoughts turn to your rough hands
a man's hands rugged and worn
my mind turn to your roughness
I wonder would you be kind to my body
delicate with an easy attitude don't get me wrong
given the right topic I'm a fiery woman
sizing you up sexually
imagining you ride hard
I'm taken off guard
when the first thing you do, is hold me for a long time
surprised,I let you hold me, I never do that
for the first time in a long time I felt safe
caressing your brow I look deep into your eyes
a connection was made immediately
you loved me then like you would never love again
worshipping at my temple of hope
the cleasning rain came and I cried
given release I exhale heavily, my body trembling
you held me until it end
then we watch the sunrise, smiing
with the knowing we could go anywhere
