Before you stands a woman who pretends not to fall apart
mourning for the pieces of me left behind on a midnight flight
lost in transition
Weathered emotions on my sleeve
vulnerability pooling round my feet
underneath I wait

enjoyed this creation of yours.
lay out in the last stanza creates a feeling of "dripping" - as if I could see every drop and the sound of it is still ringing in my head. those lines i liked:
Weathered emotions on my sleeve
vulnerability pooling round my feet
creates sense of death (death of emotions) as well as being too hurt at the time and feeling as if the open wound in your heart is obvious to others. lovely
