Image for the poem Captor, Captive

Captor, Captive

I look up
into your dark, brooding eyes
no twinkling tonight

You, tethered
yet, it is I who am held captive

In your eyes I am fulfilled
letting go of fears
barriers and rules

In this journey of seduction
teasing and torment
it is you who unfolds my wings

In flickering candlelight
I slowly devour you
weightless and bound
by my desire for you
your pleasure
becomes my pleasure

Control given, taken
my tongue sings
praises of your magnificence

Captor, captive
all that is you becomes me
as we become ecstasy
