LISTENING TO THE ANCIENT POETS

I
was in one of my
human moods, which
tend to show up often;
when I do I re-read one
of my poems or try to
write a new one.
BUT
today I found my calmness
in remembering the
words of  Rumi:
"There is a candle
in your heart, ready to
be kindled. There is a void
in your soul, ready to be filled.
you feel it, don't you."
NOW
my world is aglow in a
rainbow hue because I have
listened to the ancient poet.
