pathway halfway to Eden
strewn by photographs love sown
on tracks half hidden
by memories still so vibrant
hurts and scabs on hearts
picked clean to bleed again
if only to realise it hurts
just as much as when it begun
the year is almost over my dear
our seventh book completed
I pushed the wheelbarrow
and wrote the book
