Reigniting Hope
Mourning Flower
Why do you cry?
Does the sky not give you light?
Do the clouds not give you rain?
The sustenance running through your veins
Through your roots.
Do you not inhale that which is given freely
Your petals falling
I see them laid about
Oh why do you cry?
Shall I cusp you and give you tender care?
Would you like that my mourning flower?
Here, come here
Let me cradle you so gently
You will be illuminated and given life
I know the cold got the others
Your brothers
Your sisters
But no my flower
You will be vibrant again.
You will have everything you need
Let me take care of you
My sorrow felt flower
No more tears to shed
No more fears
You are now in my hands.
Why do you cry?
Does the sky not give you light?
Do the clouds not give you rain?
The sustenance running through your veins
Through your roots.
Do you not inhale that which is given freely
Your petals falling
I see them laid about
Oh why do you cry?
Shall I cusp you and give you tender care?
Would you like that my mourning flower?
Here, come here
Let me cradle you so gently
You will be illuminated and given life
I know the cold got the others
Your brothers
Your sisters
But no my flower
You will be vibrant again.
You will have everything you need
Let me take care of you
My sorrow felt flower
No more tears to shed
No more fears
You are now in my hands.
