Bill (Billy_Snagg)
“All of you ladies out there
Turn up your radios
I’m about to tell you something
You may want to know
You know things
They’re not always what they
Appear to be…”
Listen real close
So you can see what I see
A romantic at heart
He will sweep you off your feet
I know, I know, it’s hard to believe
But trust me
I wouldn’t steer you wrong
Take it from me
A world worn, love weary traveler
I’ve had my share of relationship-defeat
Here’s always there
To wipe away my tears and listen to me
You see…
My friend Billy
Can see
Directly into your heart
Hold out his hand
And help you cross over the jacket he’s laid at your feet
Gallant, trustworthy and sweet
He hides behind humor
Like some men do…
My friend Billy
He’s the best
And
If you hurt him
I will
Hunt
You
Down
Girl
I gotta run
‘Cuz he just saw this
Turn up your radios
I’m about to tell you something
You may want to know
You know things
They’re not always what they
Appear to be…”

Good to have a listening ear and a gallant gentleman to fall back upon

So sweet, Mary. It very much has that 'awww' aspect. But I will say this... let them hurt me! If they want to hurt me it's more than likely because I have deserved it. Deep down, you know that. 😁

Awwww an ode to Billy indeed. I love this poem that is dedicated to him. A man whose sarcasm is hilarious and out of this world. I know he will greatly appreciate this.

Haha great tribute! I totally agree. Such a gentleman at heart even if he tries to hide it!
