Cracks on the Sidewalk
my love you dwell in the garden of my heart
you hold me in your arms so tight
warmth of your heart love burning bright
as blooms in the morning light
my love your laughter is like a balm
a poultice on past wounds
leading me to a peaceful calm
saving me before I drown
if there are cracks
on the sidewalk of our life
we make sure our hearts' intact
wrapped within our internal light
you are my symphony of dreams
with every words we weave
every note of music danced to
its a vow to never give up
you hold me in your arms so tight
warmth of your heart love burning bright
as blooms in the morning light
my love your laughter is like a balm
a poultice on past wounds
leading me to a peaceful calm
saving me before I drown
if there are cracks
on the sidewalk of our life
we make sure our hearts' intact
wrapped within our internal light
you are my symphony of dreams
with every words we weave
every note of music danced to
its a vow to never give up
