Different Lights

You've got me in a daze, trying to figure out what's up from down.
Confused and afraid to even turn around.
I would hate to lose sight of what I finally found.
These years without you, I've realized how many times I almost drowned.
You really got me in love, that you truly do.
I was about to give up when God sent me you.
My future is in your hands and I bet you have no clue.
I understand a lot of what it is that you are going through.
I have also walked those same miles but from a father's view.
