Image for the poem Sunrise

Sunrise

Beautiful pinks, reds
Grey clouds
Dark cerulean sky

Joy in having seen it
Time to appreciate it
Waiting on the bus

A melancholy thought that
There will never be
Another like it
Quickest replaced
by
The excitement
For tomorrow’s
Sunrise

Author's Note
I feel that I am channeling Mary Oliver on this one. Appreciating the sunrise again today.
