Prosthetic Gardens

Is this wellness or just the illusion of it
Getting hung up on luxuries in the illusion of what is need
Price gouging desperation
Manufactures of the living
Manipulating circumstances by strings weaved through the hands of multiple marionettes

How do I learn to lead this dance when I’m getting pulled in every direction
When all everyone knows is what not to do
Lording over us at the mercy of this pride
Enlighten me with outdated wisdom in yesterdays landscape

Could you navigate it all so well today
Dysfunctions on repeat, the panic is the riot you incite inside of me
Trampling prosthetic gardens
There are no roots dug deep just plastic debris
Leave sick enough alone when everyone is tolerating a burden and we’re trying to thrive in the illusion of beauty…
