I'm with you about the violence, but unfortunately instigative social saboteurs are allowed to exist, and it's difficult to ferret them out legally, at least until they can be directly tied to the crimes they cause. Every assassin or assassin wannabe got influenced first, and in Trump's case we can say with certainty that his influence came back around on him, and serves as a example of why courtesy is still critical.

I'm in the school of thought that considers most people as essentially decent, but they are also all too often susceptible to a bad influence, so much so that the wiser people among us would sometimes try to warn us by remarking, intervention style, that we ought not hang around so and so because they're a "bad influence".

But now, and for the longest time, here in the U.S. at least, folks like Trump have made it increasingly "cool" to act out "loud and proud" or they say shit like "if you're not cheating then you're not trying".

Well, after spending enough time in a corrosive culture even the nicest folks can learn how to be pricks to all their family, friends, and neighbors, and casually justify it as part of Keeping up with the joneses. Mix in some easy firearm access and watch the bodies pile up predictably.  

Ill Make America Great Again! Vote for me! Time to bring back the swinger's parties and dumpster babies!
