The Birth of a Scream

Lost.
Disoriented.
I mingle between terror
and nightmares.
Lurking creatures
with a lust to scare.
The dark growls,
yearning to be fed.
It gnaws on my fear
in my bone's core.
You become less
in your dark greed for more.
All the petrified, paralyzed hours.
Time groans, grabs and devours.
From the cold bottomless pit
of the abyss.
Can be heard
a real high pitch hiss.
A murderous cry it seems.
The birth of a scream.
