WISH TILL UR HEART BRIMS OVER..
I wish I could pierce through the stars
to see what lay within
But then they would loose
their ethereal charm
that they”ve endlessly woven!
A life where I could forsee
The future that lay untold
But wouldn’t it feel I’ve outlived
the span of my control
I still have distant memories
Of a very weird dream
Being chased by elephants jumping fences
I could hear myself scream
I woke up from the slumber
and sat down to contemplate
I still wonder where the sheep had gone
Guess I was startled by the pachyderms
Because of what I ate!
I believe there are many out there
Who would love a world so serene
But what about those who fail to picture it
Living the life of a ghost in a machine!
I want my life to make sense
A difference to this world
a fleeting glance and it feels
there is so much more that could unfold!
The people who claim they know me
Are the ones who will never know
What it feels like being cold and abandoned
And still put on a show!
It is nobody’s fault that I have always
tucked myself in a shell
but these are some things
I wouldn’t bother complaining about
Even if going through hell!
I’ve never pictured myself dying in my dreams
A wish largely untold!
After they had stopped living where do you think they go?
A glaring flash at the end of a tunnel
Is all they say we know!
This may sound absurd
But these are some things
I always wanted to know!
Its not demons or ghouls that strike terror in me
Not the thought of going to hell or even getting old!
What bothers me are the people around
Living fake lives and putting so much on hold!
They ask me “where do you see yourself five years down the line?”
And I ask them “what are the chances of your firm living through that time?”
I have a very vague idea
Where my life would lead me to
There are places I would love to go
The things I would want to do
Life still is a baffling brainteaser!
But everyday that I wake up and read something new
I wish that things were just as simple as me having a clue!
to see what lay within
But then they would loose
their ethereal charm
that they”ve endlessly woven!
A life where I could forsee
The future that lay untold
But wouldn’t it feel I’ve outlived
the span of my control
