lost in the loneliness
darkness falls and in my desolation I keen
weeping in the emptiness of being
cast outside your gaze
grazing my heart as you pass

forever missing your soul
touching but not connecting
intermingling lust beckons
my body answers with a deepening blush
waiting for your caresses

sigh and fall within myself
not wanting to show how much I crave
my desires stirred I groan inward

carnaltiy of the moment suffices
but something is missing
