Bleak
touching dark magic, I'm cautious, I've burned before
stirring the memories I conjure
hatred of self embodies
denial of power only hastens the outcome
to learn ones strengths I direct it
the spirits wish to talk, they conspire
muffled giggles and raucous laughter
from the peanut gallery
invitations and greetings
salutations, we know one another
intently peering my soul's elevator
please entertain entering
you never know where it will land
speaking in parables I detour
peruse the bleak
I speak sorrow fluently
madness is my native tongue
conversing in metphors I open a door
the screws tighten, riveted to the anarchy
you croon curses at me I've been withholding
treading lightly I know when to pentrate the darkness
and to wait out the blasphemy
so with expletives amuse yourself won't you?
sinister darkness inspires my soul
stirring the mists I peer inward
to better take you in, I scyre
then with a daunting look I cast
turning the deeper metaphor of the blackest pleasures
reeling in the energies
a powerful being reverberates on the aether...
swirling around vibrant burgandy
struck with the gothic tones
pale of night, whisper enchantments to me
