Image for the poem sunshine girl

sunshine girl

sideline loneliness I don't connect in the visions of love
tending to the sadness I withdraw into the rain
heavy air in the atmospheres

we need more misty mornings to leave dew on the earth
taxing vexation I am calming
collecting my keys of honesty
left along the way for others to find and explain
went it is for me to burn and open up

romancing the solar system
feeling too little, always feeling to much
Socrates understood that genius is sometimes madness

to seek is to come undone
creating a home for angelic whispers
and a space for yourself to grow and shine

misting the earth with your tears
leaveing dew on your sappy sunflowers sunshine girl
forget me knots do better in your happiness

allow the daisies to be wild
and decorate the openness
don't pluck one from the field

dandelion hope flies on her own
carried on the warmer winds
to touch down in open heart
