Lust

Today in the uk
Is national poetry day
But i say
In a very tremulous way
Aware of all my fears
Tis time for international peace day
That lasts for years, and years
But Utopean dreams are fantasy
Ive oft thought this before
The sad reality we live in
Is mankinds lust for war
So no verse will ever change this
No matter how sincere, and raw
Will never prevent the blood lust
For those desiring war
