Petals of Eternal Dusk
Far beyond where men dare tread
A place exists among the dead
Sealed by hands of ancient stone
No man walks where none are known
In forgotten woods, beneath the mire
Through paths of thorns and tangled briar
A gate of iron, rusted black
Guards the way, and pulls you back
Beyond the gate, in silence deep
A garden stirs, where shadows creep
The air is thick with death’s embrace
A haunting chill, no time nor space
The petals bloom in twilight’s veil
Eternal dusk, neither light nor pale
They drink of darkness, black as sin
Where no sunlight dares begin
Woven from the nightmares lost
Each petal bears a hidden cost
For every bloom, a soul’s demise
Trapped within, where madness lies
The garden sealed, for none to find
Was cursed by priests long left behind
A rite forgotten, bound in flame
To lock away its whispered name
Yet still the petals coil and grow
Their roots in ancient blood below
From witches drowned in murky lakes
To kings whose hearts the darkness breaks
The nightshade rises, violet deep
While banshees wail and widows weep
And in the garden, still as death
The roses wait, with baited breath
No wind can stir this airless tomb
No light can pierce the eternal gloom
And those who dare the gate to cross
Are swallowed whole, forever lost
Beneath the ivy, stones are cold
Where bones of men are hidden, old
The petals rest on skulls long gone
Their whispers soft, a twisted song
They say the place was sealed by gods
To keep it from the feet of frauds
For only death and dusk may reign
In the garden where the damned remain
O sealed place, forbidden ground
Where no man hears a single sound
The petals bloom, unseen, untorn
In a twilight that’s forever born
So pass the gate, and lose your name
For none return from whence they came
The eternal petals guard their keep
Bloody bounties to prune and reap
A place exists among the dead
Sealed by hands of ancient stone
No man walks where none are known
In forgotten woods, beneath the mire
Through paths of thorns and tangled briar
A gate of iron, rusted black
Guards the way, and pulls you back
Beyond the gate, in silence deep
