We drank loads
did some class A's
threw the needles
in the playground
spewed our dreams
in the gutter
got in a fight
had unprotected sex in a doorway
with someone or other
then got lost on the way home
Yeah, it was a good night
you should have come too

its a swell piece of verse,so compact Im not sure if I read you right,i really like the way the speaker talks exultant about 'that night', and the lastline somehow strikes mysterious to me, good one A.

hahaha i find it very hilarious
two last lines are absolutely brilliant - they bond whole piece together and bring such a nice humor in nowadays reality

commercials one often catches between soaps, but still a humorous, well-wrought and effective piece of poetry. The needles tossed carelessly in the playground was a decent touch.

I know what you mean exactly, here Jack - I nearly didn't post this at all, but then I imagined it as a crazed youngster relating the night out to a friend on the phone, which made me snigger (so I must be awful then)
