Along dusty shade I float, squinting
Bright rays set a stage where my shadows play
dark thoughts on a sunny day
Spotlights see my pale weigh
Long clear nights watch me fade away
stuck inside
Dark, grey skies see my bit of shine
Puddles reflect my brave
oughta be pitied spine
I'm often
seen slumping through the rain
wishing for what ain't mine
My brain ain't fine, train ain't flying
Tracks don't lay, my plane is dying
in a station delayed for time
for infinity
Sin my sea, un-hem my jeans
feed me poppy seed
or bend my knees till
they pop and bleed
so I may feel like I'm not alone
Make my world mean
something
or
squeeze my throat
to end these groans
it's too bright outside
for a pen tote, ghost
living as an untanned note
to a sad song
echoing off of corner mould
could someone turn the lights out
at sunrise
dark thoughts on a sunny day
Spotlights see my pale weigh
Long clear nights watch me fade away
stuck inside
Dark, grey skies see my bit of shine
Puddles reflect my brave
oughta be pitied spine
I'm often
seen slumping through the rain
wishing for what ain't mine
My brain ain't fine, train ain't flying
Tracks don't lay, my plane is dying
in a station delayed for time
for infinity
Sin my sea, un-hem my jeans
feed me poppy seed
or bend my knees till
they pop and bleed
so I may feel like I'm not alone
Make my world mean
something
or
squeeze my throat
to end these groans
it's too bright outside
for a pen tote, ghost
living as an untanned note
to a sad song
echoing off of corner mould
could someone turn the lights out
at sunrise
