big coats/autumnal
in a short while it will be autumn, dear,
and we shall forget this bloody awful
summer and put on our big coats again
and look forward hopefully to next year

It was either cold and wet here - or hell's kitchen - except the past week it was heaven in the 70's and practically zero humidity. The ovens are heating back up.
I'll be relieved for winter because this damn election will be over and perhaps the tension lifted and we can be grateful we survived ( IF we survive ) and have a joyful holiday seaosn.
