TEACH ME YOU

Just like the sun rises and sets, I shall seek and find.
Petals unfurl slow and wide; if I find you, I will hold and never let go.
I will nurture you just like a farmer is gentle with his garden.
And do only what's right to make you think I am divine.

Teach me you, what's the routine to your glow?
I am here standing longing to know the formulae that has all of us falling so slow.
Can I be your guide?
Teach me about your landscapes inside then.
So that I can feel the portholes and have a smooth run,

How about the topography of your dreams?
I mean the rivers of your past, don't be confused I just want to know more about the hidden territories that only love can amass.
I am a total stranger to the equations that makes you whole,
Am I X or Y? This question keeps haunting my head but why?

At least teach me about the numbers that add up to your love,
How about the geometry of your touch sent from above?
So teach me you for that's the only clue.
Where do you hide them? I mean nothing but your wings.

Physics has taught me about gravity; where did you land?
Were you not hurt? Heavens must be a faraway place.
You don't need earthly fondness; I am insecure.
People claim angels don't exist. Give me you, and I will scream, 'Here is one!'

Teach me you, So I can understand what's within you and blend our chemistry
for what's in me is mundane and yours not.
Teach me you; I'm an engineer, and I'll weld metals to make a shield for you, my darling.

Teach me you; The world is harsh for angels like you
So train me how to put on this glamorous armor, for I am your strongest knight.
Teach me you, And I'll never mistake a spark in your eyes for a stone that needs to be removed.

I want to learn you. I've tried, and heavens knows it, but look, I've failed.
If I learn you, I won't fail, to my favorite subject I am a bright student.
Teach me you, so I can define you.
Teach me you, so I can write chapters.
Teach me you, so I can wake up today, tomorrow, and forever,

Knowing that you, you are an element of the rainbow,
For you add color to my life.
