A BORN AGAIN

I was a clumsy boy with no balance
No one ever tried to teach me grace, not even myself.
I tried to runaway but the load was too weighty on my soul,
Sins, i carried them to where i dwelled, Golgotha.
Can i give it up all? A question that had death as an answer.
I called names and shouted rage
Nothing nice came out of me as i feared people, not you Lord
I laid my hope on a deity that could perish of old age.

I sinned, actions so akin to pleasure .
I had questions, i needed wisdom
Why does salvation sound like starvation?
The scripture said "From sins you are free, so a slave of Yahweh you are, holiness is the benefit you reap and an eternal life you shall live. (Romans 6:22)
The scripture bestowed wisdom upon me.

God welcomes, He welcomed me,
The time i was enslaved in the worldly transgressions
He played Thor, with a hammer he broke the chains,
I was given His book, read the words and solved puzzles
I accepted Him and defined myself
I served Him and the reward was perennial
In my dreams i saw a version of myself so much more true
And he gave me his words, A promise of forever.
I reborn, a proud born again.
