listening to sounds of metamorphosis
from sage to green awakening eyes
in Rendevous
like rhapsody of poetic wildflowers
beneath the windblown galaxy
as if a cassette of Saturn's rings
sipping Bénédictine
a litany of thoughts flow
in clandestine rings
floating to God's ears as incense
prayers of heathen memories
the likes that would make my priest blush
while a candlelight vigil takes note of my prone soul
awaiting the knights' keeper of visions
worries over my eternity
