You're scared of people getting close
Its hard to give your trust
You've had that trust betrayed

The more you crave the quiet

The people that love and care
It's hard to accept good things

So many emotions all bubbling up
There's chaos in your head
Its hard to verbalize each one

How can anyone understand?

Maybe what drew me in
Is how much of me I see in you

Theres nothing you've done wrong
No reason to take any blame

The thoughts of being undeserving
Are founded in deceit  
 
Lies your mind has been made to believe
