Summer
This sweltering summer heat
Seems to hold your image
Farther,
As flickering mirages, false
My heart still remembers though,
Through the thirst for water cool,
That endless parching thirst for you
My sweaty work-worn body
Aching
Reminds my soul
how long I’ve felt this eternal ache
for your touch, your voice,
your kiss & your closeness
Summer
is just another season
of missing you
My Summer Love
Seems to hold your image
Farther,
As flickering mirages, false
My heart still remembers though,
Through the thirst for water cool,
That endless parching thirst for you
My sweaty work-worn body
Aching
Reminds my soul
how long I’ve felt this eternal ache
for your touch, your voice,
your kiss & your closeness
Summer
is just another season
of missing you
My Summer Love
