I did a little bit of reading to try and understand. American politics has captured my free time; however, I did want to understand this write and the overwhelming victory of the Conservative party in Britain.

Then there was a headline I read this morning:

Ultimately, political parties — not personalities — are the defining rubric for British voters.

So you have two main parties: Labour and the Conservatives. Yet I've seen you discuss the Tories, etc. Or are the Tories another name for Labour or Conservative?
