The Mysterious Sickness
Bring your beauty onto me
Mysterious and distant
I can only imagine to see
We discovered our magic together
Mileage should never stop our love
Your valued more then any buried treasure
One day i will arrive, when you least suspect
Surprise!! Surprise!!
Let's make love, take off your dress
Your looks and appeal are stunning to my eyes
Your body, so beautifully developed
So sexy honey, I tell no lies
Days & weeks go by
Personality isn't what I like
A few more days, I'm saying goodbye
She don't know, I'll tell her soon
Honey, I thought I loved you
I'm sorry, I feel like a buffoon
She began to get excited, flying off the handle
Told me she's madly in love with me
Her emotions intense, she began to ramble
As I packed my stuff, and said I'm going to leave
She got in my face
Told me, Wait, you will not believe
I waited around, she handed me a gift
Beautifully wrapped
I said what is it, she said, open it!
I began to open and inside was a device
Looked like an old antique clock
I looked and said, thanks, that was so nice
I asked her what was this for
She said it's an old family heirloom
I want you to have, nothing more
As I left the house I drove away in my car
Everything was fine
Until halfway I began feeling bizarre
I had felt dizzy & nauseous
No reason why
I began driving real cautious
I woke up this morning feeling great
Didn't eat or drink anything
It's so bad, I can't keep my eyes straight
I was able to pull into a rest stop
My body was shaking horribly
Opened the car door, I then just dropped
Someone came to my rescue, asked me my name
I couldn't remember a single thing
I think I'm going insane
Paramedics came to help me out
Took me to the hospital
I began to think, what was all this about?
By the time I arrived
I was feeling great
I was feeling fine
Told the medical staff, not sure what came over me
Maybe a 24 hour bug
Or something I just couldn't believe
A day later they drove me back to my car
As I sat behind the wheel
I began to see stars
This time the paramedics were there to see what this was about
They asked me to leave the car
One guy looked at the ticking box and pulled it out
As he held the box, he too became violently ill
Another paramedic looked inside
He opened the box and let out this horrible shrill
He began saying that this clock is cursed
It dates back to the witch hunts of the 1600's
Keep it around, you may end up in a hearse
Old American antiques he knew so well
He's been studying and collecting for years
Purchases them cheap, knowing he will sell
Where did you get this and how did it come to
A girl I met gave it to me
She's not your friend if she gave this to you
Found a dumpster, as I threw the clock away
I was grateful to the paramedics
Someday this girl will have to pay
Until then...
Mysterious and distant
