Birthday Candle

Today is the day I will celebrate      
My birthday party that exhilarates    
All these lonely thoughts on my restless mind    
Staggering memories I've left behind    
     
Beginning a new start with this fresh breath    
Escaping the past of haunting regret    
I'm now at peace with my nightmaric dreams    
Now knowing that nothing is as it seems    
     
Sitting at my party I'm all alone    
Thoughts I reflect of my futures unknown    
Getting ready my special birthday cake    
Feeling all this remorse I cannot shake    
     
Another year of life I can't handle    
At last I blow out my birthday candle
